The week is organized to reflect the ecosystem cycle that starts with providing the legal framework and environment for successful blockchain and crypto business creation (the Taskforce), then an environment for educating what is possible technologically (Stampede Developer Conference) leading to innovations and possibilities (WyoHackathon). Then taking those innovations and turning them into businesses (Stampede Business Conference) and giving them the support, mentorship and acceleration required for success (Sandcastle).

The new 4-story Engineering Education and Research Building is the latest addition to the University of Wyoming College of Engineering and Applied Science. Comprised of research and teaching lab spaces, faculty offices, a medium classroom, a large auditorium, and collaboration spaces, the building is shared by multiple disciplines of engineering department including civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, computer science, atmospheric, chemical and petroleum engineering programs.
